GoodBookmarks.com New Design
I'd say I like the current one better. I'll compare the two...
1) I like the single black line for the end of the left side menu more then the thick black line of the current design. I would implament this feature...
2) The menu, in my opinion, stands out more in the current version. The yellow links really help do this. The new design has it at the way top, above the banner, which means people usually won't notice it (people skip over the banners).
3) Logo is much better in the current design. I like the 'G.' The new one is just plain text. BORING!
4) Whatever you do, add a search button next to the text field.
The two designs actually aren't that much different, but I prefer the current one much more...

The words on the logo - Quality links to Quality Sites - are fuzzy and very difficult to read.
The links at the bottom of the page (advertise etc.) - I think they would look better centered.
Why use a different design for pages inside the site? I prefer the blue & yellow design of the inner pages, actually.
It's an intereting idea and the design is basic and simple - I like it. I guess you're planning to add more links in the future as there aren't that many now.
Good Luck!

I've done a completely new design for my site. You can find it at http://www.goodbookmarks.com/design/
I plan to use the left panel to put up Update infos, and some buttons for traffic exchange.

I love the concept of this site and think you have done a good job. I agree with the comment about advertising, etc. links at the bottom, these should be centered in the text above, right now they are centered in the page but your links are not. So, perhaps center your list of links or make your right margin smaller.
Great Site,

The one you have is better than both of these. In the second one, that glow effect does not go with the flat colour look of the rest of the site.
I think that what you need to do is work on a really good logo rather than spending your time on these new designs. That space in the top left of your current design is just asking for a logo!

Yeah, I agree with Megan. Most of these new designs you have are mostly the same design, with different logos and navs. Find a perminant place for the navigation, then work really hard on a good logo...

OK, I'll improve on the current one. How about making everything flat?

There is a new place for the nav system. If you notice it, you'll see 2 lines, 1 above the nav system and 1 below. I dunno whether the line should be put above or below the nav system, so I hope to hear something about it.

I like http://www.goodbookmarks.com/design/design2.html better then the current one you have. I like the simplicity (sp?) of the design. I also like the logo.

I'd say strike three you're out! Stick with and improve the current design.
1) Don't really like the logo. Looks like it was made in MS Paint. Also- the text is hard to read.
2) Navigation doesn't go with the rest of the page, and it's too small.
I could go on and on...

I like it! Best yet... But I never really liked the '<' shape for the banner add part. Oh well, it still looks good...
