Getting ready to make big changes and want input beforehand

Hello there,

I am new to this forum and I wanted to know if I could get some of you more professional webmasters to look at my humble site and offer your guidance. We are getting ready to add a whole bunch of programming to the site and I wanted to find out anything else I should change at the same time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Eric

Your logo/header thing is really beautiful. Very nicely done. The rest of the design, though, should be better integrated with it I think though. The plain style menu right below it kind of conflicts. I feel like that menu should be different somehow but I'm not quite sure how. Also put some space between the menu and the ad banner. The menu should also be repeated at the bottom of every page because you do have some fairly long pages on here.

Make the base font on all your pages the sans-serif you have on the home page (I'm looking at some of the reviews and they have serif fonts - sans-serif looks better on screen).

A few problems with links here and there - on the third level pages (the reviews), another option appears on the menu (Free Resources) - that link and the "reviews" link are broken

Another thing you might want to do is to make your link colour a little brighter. Since you have the underlines turned off it's sometimes hard to tell what is a link and what isn't.

This is interesting because most of the digital art sites I've come across (which isn't many) have been on a black background - nice to see something different.

OR if so then just

do I detect a note of sarcasm, Count Vlad? - have you been getting enough sleep? - stop staying up all day Impaling and take better care of yourself Wink - this site appears to me to be quite highly polished - so I'll just go(proof!) - [busy holiday, practicin' my duckin' an' all - whoa, look out! Wink ] - apostrophe in "That's about it for now" and "December's" - in "Link To Us!", you might wanna add a comma after "if so" but this is just a little block 'a text so I'd say you could pass on that if desired - might even delete "then" - problem is the line break is worse - how 'bout "Do you want to...?" and then just "Use the button below!" - like I said in another post, I think this "Copyright 2000" is correct - although © is commonly added, it's really just redundant - since it is so common, I won't even say it's wrong, more like unnecessary - I'll try to look through the rest of the property soon - just figured I better say somethin' before ya came after me with a texture weapon  Wink
