Game site Loosing hits - constantly...
Hello Everyone,
I would like to know if anyone knows why my game type site is loosing visitors, It is in its won category(battletech) so there shouldnt be any problems with that, heres the hit list----

Dear Jim,
I dont think that the hits would come like that +30 for about 40+days : ) but it might of had some effect, do you guys think it might have anything to do with me resubmitting to the search engines, tharts about the day i did it too...Any ideas? Ohh guys i got front page 2000 today, it is very good i recommend getting it...

i think your site critique definitely has something to do with the numbers, don't know about that high of a number though, maybe a cumulative effect

hi Ken,
Do you have any stats of where your hits are coming from, i.e. yahoo, infoseek, etc. or are they coming from website referrals or frequent visitors. If you do, you might want to check where they were coming from then versus now. Could be like carolyn said, that it's weather driven.

If you don't constantly work on 'spreading the word of your site', it will get viewer hits over time. I would highly suggest that you continue your quest to gain reciprocol links. You e-mailed me for info on my link offers... and I have not seen you add a link to our Court O' Links as of yet.... We have over 7500 current players (4300+ unique managers) and many check our Links from time to time and see what is there. We do NOT require a reciprocal link for the Court... but we always appreciate them.

Decide who your most popular competitor is - say www.damnfinegames.com - and do a search on infoseek for link: damnfinesgames.com. Once all the sites that link to this site come up visit as many as you can and ask for a reciprocal link.
