wow, that site was painful...
Okay, this being your first website (right??!??!!?) I'll try not to be to harsh on you Smiling Here we go:

1) You need a template. There are plenty of free ones out there. The site so far has almost no organization; things are just sorta....thrown on.
2) Why would you charge for something we can all get in a thousand other places for free? Including our email! ... Nice try tho.
3) Make sure that the images/video/sounds are not licensed or copyrighted by anyone. For example, THE FAR SIDE comics are copyrighted, and unless you want a nice letter from their lawyers, better to not use their material.
4) Read up on basic HTML and Web design, there are lots of books for beginners that will come in very handy.
5) There is no originality whatsoever.

Bottom line is, the website is pretty badly designed. Take a couple minutes to see what else is out there and gather some ideas. Also, do not charge, it makes no sense unless what you are providing is something no one has ever seen before and is 100% unique.

There is lots of room for improvement. Wink

P.S. Take that lion video down, there is nothing funny about people killing a lion...

I dont charge for anything, I dont know why you thought I did, unless your talking about the donation buttons, hence donation. I have researched the other websites out there and came to a conclusion that content is the number 1 factor followed by easy navigation although this is not the best website I give you that but with all you had to say I cant help but to think that this all comes down to that lion video. And let it be known that the lion video is my #1 download.
Thanks for the input.

Don't get all defensive on me but...

1) (like techi said)Get a constant layout, if you click on something all the navigation moves around
2) (like techi said) don't use copyrighted images
3) (like techi said)Get more organized; there is stuff all over the place
Well, do everything techi said to do Smiling

The pictures are funny though Laughing out loud

Im working on the navigation problem I agree, what do you find not organized about it, I gave different subjects headers and split them up. Im tring to go for the relaxed look. As far as copyright goes Im going to be adding text on the bottom of my page that says " All copyrights go to there respectfull owner. If you are the original creator of material posted on this website and want it removed, please contact the webmaster." How much do you think this will help me (the text).
Why I was offended with techi was that he was making false statments, telling me to be origianly but to use a template. I think I just pissed him off with the whole lion video.
Thanks for the imput.

aaaactually, I was not at all offended by the video. I'm just simply saying that anyone who finds this video funny needs help. You are here to get your site critiqued, meaning that you can get positive as well as negative input. Yeah, most of my input was negative, but I'm entitled to that opinion. Also, if you don't want to use a template thats fine, I never said you HAD to, but do look at some, just so that you get some idea of what a website should look like. Here is a link that i always share that may come in handy: http://www.wpdfd.com/

Good luck with your site. Smiling

I mostly agree with tenchi...
The content is good, though not everything is funny to everyone.
The template is O.K, but it could be better. It looks slightly tacky.
Personally, it's acceptable if the webmaster did not have time on their hands to learn XHTML and CSS and did not have the ability to create a better design.
That's all.

Wow, definitely agree needs navigation. Try to make like sections instead of just one big long long long page!
I would really work on organizing the page before adding anymore content.

In some ways it's clean. Grapics are sharp, background isn't distracting, and there is some consistency throughout.

Make navigation smaller.

Stop with the alternating red and yellow text colors. I can see that you're using it consistantly as part of you brand identity. Being consistant is good, but this yellow/red checker boarding is just distracting. Oh, I'm not a fan of the "bubble edges" around your navigation links but if your insist on keeping it, use it much less. Maybe one border around the entire naviagaion area instead of around each individual link (if you must keep it at all).

As for the copyright material, I happen to be a tv producer. None of that stuff is mine but to be honost I'd drop the hammer on anybody I found serving up my material. (I do know guys at the agency that made that Lassie ad.) You may think it's free advertising and you're not making any money, but "we" like to keep tight control over the image of our product. If we don't think a site is up to our high standards we don't want that association made with our product. Big heads up on using any material that's not yours, whether it's video, games, images, whatever.

But good luck. Stick with it and keep learning.

I have to say... that site is rather ugly. I really dont like the "red on yello" thing you have there,a nd also, why is all your content on one page? You should divide it into sections; Flash, Images, etc. Without it your site seems a little cheap and poorly made. With a little work, I think it could be a good site though.

the immediate problem with the site is that i had to scroll from left to right on the screen - this is a big problem which you need to sort out. Also your homepage is too long - consider splitting it up into more pages.

You need to bring some structure to the site to make it more pleasing to the eye. The yellow background is not a nice colour to look at...consider something more pastely mabye.

You have obviously thought about the content - now you need to think about the image of your site....create your template to match your primary market....

hope this helps!

Sorry but im going to agree with everyone here.

The colour scheme doesnt do it for me. Nor does the navigation. Pages are too loooooooooooooong..........................

Still good idea putting up all the resources for people to be able to watch the video's !

A lot of people wouldnt have thought to do that.
