1) The black bar on the top is just a little too high. Make the square a little smaller, so it's about the same height as the text.

2) I think you need to think about your color scheme. Green and yellow? Eww- I think those colors don't go together at all. One thing though, you'll never get people saying you aren't using enough colors.

3) The 'Featured' and 'Categories' pictures aren't the best quality. Also, the text isn't standing out too well.

4) On the top bar, why not try putting a pixel high black bar between the yellow and the green, then make the big black bar you have right now a little smaller in height, maybe 2-3 pixels.

5) The boxes on either side of the content are too close to the edge of the window for my taste. And they're too close to the top bar also IMO.

I think it looks pretty good. If I were going to make som changes, I would...

1) Round the corners of the boxes/tables
2) Move the text in just a little from the edges on the screen.

That's it...

John

I think the yellow and the green go together; although, I'm not known for my great taste in color either. Sticking out tongue

The Yellow and green are a little bright IMO. I think the top bar looks a little too much like C|net. The logo thing with the coloured boxes looks a little too much like the windows logo too. The words in the logo would look a lot better if they were all the same font.

You should try to minimize the number of extra colours you are using. Take the four colours from the boxes in the logo thing, and make the logo text and rop right URL text the same as that. Or go the opposite way, whatever.

The subheaders you have with the gradient need to be fixed as well. Changing the text from white to black would probably do it - white is too hard to read against the lighter green.

I would put your screen saver categories in the menu on the left, and move all the site stuff (link to us etc.) up to the black bar with About Us and all that.

Overall this isn't too bad - nothing special but I think it will suit your purpose just fine.

Why are there 2 HitBox counters? I feel like I'm in CNET, with just a change of colors.
