Hi everyone,

I would appreciate very much if you could give your comments and suggestion.

http://www.copiertrade.com/uni-hosting

It's almost complete and I want to make sure that it's acceptable to most viewers, please advice if you find anything that is not right for example the layout, colour scheme, text and others that I may have overlooked.

Justin, Megan and TGE helped alot when I submitted it for a review earlier, I have changed slightly the layout and added css for the buttons link which at the moment leads back to the index page and will only added the other pages when I am satisfied with the index page.

Thanks

Well... I don't like the colors that much, but that's just personal preference. You don't see green/yellow/brown used too much together on a web page. I mean, it looks OK I guess, it just doesn't look extremely good. There's tons of white space on either side, and overall it just doesn't look that organized. For example, I don't like how there's two tables, one for business hosting, one for virtual hosting, etc. If I can think of any more specifics, I'll let you know, but right now if you want it to look really professional I'm suggesting you re-arrange the layout completely or get a whole new design.

1) I think you have the logo and navigation buttons nailed out pretty well. You just need to work on the main content area of the site.

2) The color green and yellow are ok. Not what I would pick, but, like Brian said, it's just a personal preference. You also need to use the colors you choose for the logo and side menu in the main content area. You don't want to use totally different colors like you did.

3) The main content area, like I said, is the most troubled area. You need to make it nice and clean looing without and table borders or anything if you want it to look professional.

4) Just some small things need fixing. Like meta tags and and page title. Maybe add text links at the bottom of the page along with a Copyright statement. Just small stuff that will help the site in the long run.

Don't use green for the color scheme, especially when you're trying to earn money. Green equals Money, and it makes people think that you're money-minded.

And also, 1.5GB transfer a month sure will turn people off. Smiling

It looks a little bit better, but I think implementing something like I did in this graphic to the top logo would make it look a lot better:

Or, even better would be something like what I did for an old web site:

Another suggestion I would have to is to get rid of that circle. It doesn't look good, in my opinion. However, if you do decide to impliment any of the above ideas then you'd be able to drop it in favor of some of the pieces of eye candy I made above.

Remember, the more intricate the design, the longer it keeps people looking at it.

Thank you all for your comments and suggestion.

Brian,
Thanks for suggesting a better color combinaton and layout to look more professional, I think I also will need to use percentage as I note that there is a lot of white space on both sides as you mentioned meaning that most viewers may be using 800 X 600 resolutions or higher.

Justin,
You are right about the buttons and logo having different colors and I noticed many people don't like border around a table, I will need to do something about the color and layout or do a commplete redesign as Brian mentioned. The copyright statement is a good idea which I never thought off and will definitely include it.

Jackchen,
Hehe, I never thought about that, yes it looks and give the impression that I am after their money only. Maybe I will use less green.

TheGraphicsExperience,
Thanks for some inovative ideas on the logo, probably I may have to redesign a new logo and come up with a better one.

Thanks again for helping and really appreciate the great suggestion, views and recommendations.

I agree with everything that has been said so far. Overall the design looks rather unprofessional - get rid of the default table borders and cheesy 3D nav buttons.
