final design....maybe....???!!! PLEASE LOOK
Ok guys,
I posted here last week with a couple of sites for a golf course I am designing a site for. All of your replies were a fantastic help to me, so thanks for that!
I have come up with another design now. This will make 4 I will show the directors. I think this one holds to the professional design of the 3rd site I had previously done, but adds a softness and more "golfy" feel to it. There will be a netscape version, (if this design is accepted). Currently the only pages with content are under the course area. The rest is filled with fluff.
The images have to go and lose the feathered look, but as of yet I haven't gotten to that. The text navigation is borne out of the directors wishing to have a reeeeeeeeeaaaaaalllllly low bandwidth site, so here goes...
Cheers and thanks in advance
Please review and critique this site, it's url is

for those who didn;t see the other posting, the other sites are:
1st site http://www.todaytech.net/golf/default.htm
2nd site http://www.todaytech.net/golf/mcc/default.asp
3rd site (the one I like) http://www.todaytech.net/golf/mcc/new/default.htm

Niiiiice! Great combination of the two sites. The color has much more of a "golf" feel. But having the tables really makes it feel very professional and organized.
The only thing I would add is a logo with the name at the top. Especially on the home page - but it would be good to have a smaller version of the name at the top on the other pages.

It looks very nice. The colors and tables make it look very professional. I would suggest you the name of the club as part of the logo at the top. I would also maybe add a little more color to the site. It's up to you though, depends on how you like the site to look.

This is what it looks like in Netscape 4.6:
Those black vertical lines look rather scrubby. I dont think that is supposed to be...
But overall the site looks great. I like what you did with the frames to line things out for high resolution screens.

Hi, Ok, i really like the tables layout with the green.
I too think you need a top logo on each page.
I also really liked the picture in the #1 site on the black background..
it would be great if that could be brought into this site some how.
It looks real, like you could just step into it, as opposed to the feathered out/blurred pics you are using now.
(oops just read you were already to change them
Like the rollovers,
it seems on the upper ones:
scoreboard, pro, and directions that the 'on' version is a couple of pixels short?
I am getting a | at the front side of score and pro,
and at the front and the end of directions?
The site is clean and pleasing to look at,
i think it could be set in a bit larger table?
Why? i dunno To make room for the photos?
Fast loading, i am using IE 5 800x600 56 k
good job,
i like this design better than any of the rest posted.
