Your site was well organized, concise, easy to navigate. On my small monitor, the top text buttons were pretty hard to read. I thought the use of the same image of the woman in different scenes was good and gave a sense of continuity to the site. I would have liked some sort of idea on pricing. Perhaps you could give an example of previous work, what it was used for and what you charged for it - just to give potential customers an idea of the cost. To be honest, I wasn't overly fond of the yellow/lime green background. I thought it was a little bright - but that is just personal opinion of course. The jester which changes color on mouse over to get the homepage is very nice.
Overall, I thought it was a very professional site.

Well done!
Clean, concise, I agree with dmwhipp with regards to a more detailed portfolio, possibly on the lines of a case study. Basically expanding the content to fit within the users probable questions. PRICE might be a touchy subject, but I usually am of the opinion that if a company wont list their prices, you can expect pretty high pricing once you get the list. Not that they're hiding something of course!
possibly even center it on the page, or atleast give it a bit of breathing space off the top of the page. Even just 50 pixels would make a difference
Nav font is a bit small, you could maybe capitalise, that would make it easier to read (I prefer small capitalised nav text - so that is just personal preference).
Content is written in a very relaxed way, almost like a conversation rather than an exposition of the companies services etc. But if that is what you were going for, then that's fine. I always run my content through the services of an editor before I post it. Can be pricy, but when your sister is an editor, that generally doesn't enter into it!
Overall very well done.

I really like this site (although it does make me wish I could draw even a stick man well) I like the colours and the style it is all done in. Very good.
I do agree thought that you could perhaps have a case study or go into a wee bit more detail about the illustrations you have featured & also a price that could be expected for that type.
I would also make it centered by putting what's there in a table specified as 95% x 95% that way it'll look good no matter what the screen size (unless it's smaller than 600*800)

Short and to the point - a good example to us all.
I agree that you should increase the font size for the navigation bar at the top, and to provide links to live sites where your artwork can be viewed in context.
Also, it's a bit passive. Have you considered some sort of 'come on' where you more actively invite the visitor to submit their requirement to you. Assuming that one of the key intentions of your website is to generate new business, it can only help to ask for it.
Office Users.
See the possibility.
Make the choice.

You folks really know how to give a great review. I truly appreciate it. It can be hard to find such a great resource.
I will definitely take all of your suggestions into consideration and make the appropriate changes and adjustments. Please don't think that I am done taking suggestions, because the more, the merrier.
I will update you all to let you know when the changes have been made.
Thanks again!

Great site, easy loading, easy navigation, easy on the eyes.
The only tiny thing I could find uneasy with the site was the red hovering color for the links. It is red on black, which tends to clash..
Great site though

I just wanted to say...
I love this site!
It makes me want to see more of your illustrations.
I like the straitforward marketing approach.
(selling my work has never been my strong suit)
I also like the cartoon illustrations you use.
They are perfect since you are competing against clip art and stock photography.
The only thing I wasn't fond of was the green color (but I've never been a fan of green or red, so that's just me)
I would definately contact you for more info if I was in the market for an illustration.
Great work!
Karen
gotta finish redesigning my sites so I can show them again.

I really like the navigation of this site. It all flows so smoothly. Its great to have the same character on all of the pages. Its great how she is acting out each of the parts of the site.
