Feedback for New Site
Hello again everyone. I would really appreciate your helpful critiques of a new site I am developing for a client. Please keep in mind that it is still under development and also that I have only been doing this for about 4 months. Thanks for your help. The site address is: www.uniquelyyoursonline.com

I like:
- Your gold logo, it communicates the theme of looking your best/luxury
- The testimonals logo - hilarious!
I would change:
- Put the spinning 13 somewhere else or make it smaller. Or you could replace it with your company logo.
- Change the 'subscribe' message to plain text (it's too hard to see)
- Some of the links seem to be unaccessible (the cool stuff one, for example). Fix it!

1) I think the logo works good for the type of site. It's only very crisp and clear. But I don't like how the "online!" text is overlapping the gold part.
2) All the other graphics are really, really blurry. In this I mean the side menu buttons and "Subscribe..." text part. Oh yeah- and also the images on the sub-pages. They need to be crisp and clear like the logo.
3) Make the "Years of Service" text into a graphic.

Your images are extremely lossy... That is not good! Specifically, the main image, your logo and the credit card image. But also the links on the left (and the bevel is really out of fashion at the moment, and makes the site seem older than it is). Actually all the images though out the site, other than the main logo, are poorly optimized and seem to be significantly different in quality from the logo, as if the work of another less experienced person.
Also, you use images for text meant for reading (white in black column) which is also not good -- that should be regular text.
Who is primecom interactive, if I may ask?

Hey a (770) area code!
That's outside the perimeter somewhere. Where are you at? I'm in Grayson, just south of Lawrenceville. Now on the the critique...

A few things:
1) Add rollovers on the links.
2) The "Subscribe to Our Newsletter" Image is blurry and really not neccassary. Text could replace it. And dont use listbot! Get a real maling list that you can host on your own server like MailMachine. Thats what I use.
3) In 1024x768 Res. the logo goes over the bckground and is all justified to the left.
Remember that when you are desiging a web site, you need to make sure you are making it compatible for all browsers, OS's, and screen resolutions. Ok, enough for the lecturing. The site was over all not pooorly designed. Just needs to be tweaked a little.

Yup, lose the 13. If it was 20 or 25 or something I would understand, but 13 just isn't a number to celebrate (from someone else's persepctive anyway).
At 1024 your content area with the header is overlapping onto the black bar (which I guess is the repetition of the left side border). If you are going to use a left side border like that, make it at least 1200 pixels wide, so it won't repeat at high resolutions (either that or use CSS to set the background to no-repeat).
The header text looks pretty good, but I think the "online" should go behind the gold words. As the others said, the other images just look really poorly done.
The text on your "fashion tips" page reminds me of this fashion book my mom has - copyright 1984. Maybe you could read some fashion magazines and make that sound a little more "now".
I don't like it when a navigation bar changes from page to page. Keep the buttons the same, in the same order, but just grey one out or something when you're on that page. (like show the "down" state of a mouseover button)
