hey getyourbiglobst - looks good to mme - I read your other review thread and I think it still would be nice if you could get a display that fills the screen a little more at higher resolutions - you might want to put HOME in yer links - I also have a setup in which I hope people will click on my logo for HOME, but it looks like you have plenty of room for it - finally, a typo on the second recipe: sprinkel

The photo isnt techincaly right, the depth of field is wrong, the focus is/was set in the middle of the plate, but should be at the front of the plate.
Your text is very small in NS4.7, and the borders arent the same as IE5's, could be your code and css, where the text is you open the tag but dont close it, you also list p in your style sheet, it needs to be closed.
you dont need leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" in your body tag, if its set to fixed width and centered.
That little flash thing at the bottom is a pain in the butt, if i wanted your details and wasnt a fast writer i would have to wait and watch the whole cycle over and over, then check it was right, over and over, the details are on the left anyway but they could be extra details, or a special message - making people wait is a step to drive them away.
the "type your email here" only appears colored in IE, even Opera set to IE doesnt display it, but that and your links dont look like input space or links, maybe make your links a different color to the text
on the receipe page, the pop ups area good idea (if viewed with IE), in opera there is a very loud pattern covering the window and none of it is readable, except "print this ..." in NS there is no pattern but a grey background, a picture would look good with this, in IE i get a light squared pattern with bits in the middle. The picture on that page is blurry? cant work out where the focus was on that one, is it pawns?
you need alt tags on the "pics" page (maybe page should be renamed as well, I thought it was going to be pics of your place. the pops up (i tryed #9) in IE display pretty much in the center, a lil top left, in NS similar but a lil bottom right, in Opera (set as opera) its hard top and left.
is a "takeout" the same as "takeaways" (food to go)? if so, would you deliver to NZ, you've made me hungry and its way to hot to cook dinner tonight , but seriously if it is then maybe add something about it, area you cover, fees (distant etc) or whatever you charge/do
I like the overall look and feel of it

This is nice! I don't think I saw it the first time. I like the colour scheme and the centered rectangle reminds me of those old recipe file cards.
If I have to pick on anything, I'd start with the flash animation. It gets on my nerves.
It would also be nice if the pics opened up into a more interesting window using the site colour scheme and perhaps including some sort of description.
Other than that, very nice. I'm making a mental note of the colour combo for future projects

Looks great! The only thing I'm going to complain about is that the height of the pictures page isn't matching the height of the others, so it's kind of jumping a bit. The home page is a little short as well - the others (Menu, Recipes, Guest-Chef and Classes) are the same to me.
The photo links and the "view menu" link aren't working for me (using Opera 6). Oh, that's probably because i have pop-up windows disabled.... my fault

hi,
Thought your page was simple and easy to use. The flash in the bottom right corner started to bug me the longer I looked at the page... I think it's the line moving in and out quickly. Maybe a fade-in, fade-out effect would be less annoying.
After viewing the pages I felt like I didn't know enough about the business you are presenting. Maybe some background information(like trainig, years of service etc(mini-resume), references) would be helpful, pictures of the kitchen with the chefs at work, list of the most common meals served so the viewer can imagine what might work for them(ie. a lot of people I imagine wouldn't know what to ask for...maybe a section with a small info session on flavour and parts of each dish with an accompanying picture)
The colours and graphics go well but are a little drab.

I like it. Just the names of the two recipes alone have made me hungry!
Now ... as for the purpose of the site? I guess you want people to hire you. I want to, but apart from being in another hemisphere, I don't know much about you to see if you are reliable and so on. Maybe an about us page with the above idea of resume and so on. Also, do you deliver? Takeout to me means placing the order and picking up the order from the shop. But then your menus indicate maybe a home dinner party type of catering. Not sure.
I really like the look of your site. This is well done. Happy to look at your site even if I don't know its business purpose.
Cheers and good luck,
Annette

You've made me hungry.
Wonderful looking food and wonderful looking site.
The only thing that confused me was I thought the thumbnail images were going to take me to a page describing what I was seeing, or at least a "how to order this" or "how to make this" page.
I like what you have so far!
I would like to see some more information about you and your school though.
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to sign up for classes or order your meals. Or is this a general resume site?
You might want to make it clear why your visitors are supposed to do (other than want to raid the refrigerator).
Karen
PS: I have to agree with everyone else... the animation really needs to go.... sorry.
