Hi All,

We are a web design company based in the UK.

We supply a wide range of services to businesses and would like to get your opinion on our site and more importantly the copy.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated, we look forward to your replies.

Hi, Marks, thanks for reviewing other sites, it's much appreciated.

There is too much, I don't know where to look. I don't feel led.

This might be the first time I've seen SitePal actually used in a site other than an ad for the product itself, it's kind of annoying since she welcomes you everytime you return to the homepage.

Anyways, I agree with Suzanne, there is just so much information, I don't know where to begin.

The "Recent Projects" and "Testimonial" sections on the left have a "Google Ad" feel to them which made me not want to click them at first.

Overall, although the overwhelming amount of content may be good for the SERPs, it is very hard for your average visitor to digest.

if you selling to businesses you may want to consider using some artwork a little more business oriented as opposed to a kid on the floor playing with an imac

Smiling

other than that the structure and artwork look pretty good, but its probably too wordy, break your links into sub categories and reduce the amount of text for each section. let the link take them to the info. Theres no way I would read all that.

Very clean design - nice color scheme and icons

- i need to lose about half the text on my home page now that i look at it =/

That's exactly what I was thinking. It's strange, because the overal design is so corporate looking but the pictures don't fit with that at all. I also find the gold icons to be out of place. They seem sort of bizarre in contrast with the straight layout.

Weird error. From the home page I clicked on the "web design" section. Then there was another link that wanted to send me to the "about web design" section. (Why not go straight there??) I clicked on that link, the page came up briefly but immediately changed to the page not found error. I'm using Opera 7.5, if that matters.

In general I'm finding this site to be very boring. The design is so "corporate' looking. I think that web designers can and should do something more creative. There's also a lot of text on here. Lots and lots of text. I think it's better to be more direct about what you can do for the client rather than making them read all these paragraphs. Action words are good.

It takes forever to load the images on 56k, and I get a horizontal scroll bar with AOL. You also may want to put more effort into the text only version. Just because it's text only, doesn't mean it has to be paragraphs. You can still use layouts and background colors, ect.

Nice looking Web site. Some of the images take quite a long time to load though and I get a horizontal scrollbar at 600X800 resolution.
I suggest you use a different kind of navigation system. It would probably look better with a few graphics rather than just plain text. Wink
Best of luck!

hi there,
i like the color scheme and structure. i think it's well thought of. the content and links work fine. i dislike that talking thing on the main page - what is the purpose? it's really annoying. to summarize: nice clean design, probably good SR. is this business very competetive in England?
