Hi Karen, thanks for doing some reviews, sorry for the delay ...

First up the site was slow to load (on dial up), the 'shaker' image was first, then the lower content, then your main content.
Your layout is nice and clean but my eyes aren't drawn to anywhere, just floating around the page not really being able to take anything in. The font on the menu buttons is a little hard to read.
The sitemap link at the bottom is not linked, so looks like you're on the sitemap page.
I don't know, the more I look at your front page the more confused I am, okI know nothing about your site and content but with the small amount of text you have on there I can't see how the images at the bottom fit into it all.
The italic blue on inside pages is hard to read, or hard to follow (info page), the right boxed sections content is also on the border in firebird, needs some padding.
the 'more info' link in your navigation doesn't go to the same place as the 'more info' link does on the index page.
You need to get rid of your font tags and use more CSS
Slight horziontal scroll bar on faq page at 800x600
I hope your not using microsoft office to make your site

over all looks good, sorry dont have much time at present to find out what the site is about. good luck

Sorry for the delay, Karen!

This isn't bad for a start. The big problem I'm having is with text. There is a lot of it and it's often hard to read. You might want to read up on writing for the WEB and also the "rule of 7". Text is an important part of any site and it's important to make it easy for people to read and understand what you're offering. I find that there is way too much text on the front page and it gets difficult to figure out what to focus on. There's also alot of italics, coloured fonts, and block caps competing for attention.

The navbar, for example, is too long and the text is too small and cramped looking. You could consolidate some of those items and then you'd be able to space things out a little better. Countless psychological studies have shown that people can only process about 5-9 options at a time. After that they get confused. So it's best to keep a navbar around 7 items or less.

This looks like a really interesting idea. The big problem is that people need to download a plugin to see anything. That could be a killer. I don't know what's happening on the backend here or why a plugin is needed but you might want to revisit that idea.

Another big problem is that you don't have a logo - that's essential for any business. Have a professional design one for you if you don't think you can do it yourself.

A lot of your text is way too small too - I say this over and over again. Text needs to be large enough to be read comfortably by all users, including those with weaker eyesight. Another problem is that some of your text is resizeable and some of it isn't. Best to go to relative font sizing for all elements.

Overall this is a pretty good site (depsite the negative comments above Smiling) I just think things need to be streamlined a lot. You might even need to revisit your site architecture. This is always a problem with more complex sites so a lot of attention needs to be given to how things are structured. It's also helpful to use background colours and other division styles to give structure to a page layout (so everything isn't floating in a sea of white). I agree with Busy that using proper coding methods can make a big improvement.
