I love the idea you have about the "Our Superbowl Ad" link - good eye catcher. Looks liek a good product as well. My question is this - how can I tell if I am included in the 200 citites that you provide service too? Am I missing it? Please don't tell me I have to fill out the signup page, and then find out I do not qualify.
Nice use of the newspaper articles - good PR. Made me think I need to get our articles up on our site.

hi eitemiller
Thanks for the feedback- did you try entering your zip code right below the rotating cities in that text box to see what comes up? maybe it's not clear that you can check to see if your area is included...? any suggestions on how to make it more aparent?

This sites fantastic. I'm very impressed with the speed of the search facility when looking for a title! One comment is the pink rollover colour on the links to the top-right dont look too hot in my opinion, not against that grey background. I would just invert another colour on rollover for a similar effect but looking slightly more professional. I take it that your customer base is US only then ? WHen I tried to enter a UK postal code I got nothing! I guess it does say zip!

a message does at least pop up when you enter text in the zip lookup though right? oh hey, also there's only 2 links to this "sample queue page" should i try to emphasize it more? http://dvdbarn.com/sample_queue.dvd

Yeah a message appears saying that two day delivery time in certain states or something but if its for US customers only, how about mentioning that somewhere. If I stumbled across your site, I'd be disspointed if I found out just before sign up that it was only for US residents. You need to make it clear on the main page!

This site is very professional, the giant banner is eye-catching, and you should try to add more products on the index page. Either than that there's nothing wrong with the site. Nicely done.

The site looks great! The only thing i would suggest is getting a copyright notice on the pages, its sad but there are people who take everything word by word.

Text and links the same colour is a big no-no, makes surfing a site awkward and time consuming guessing whats where.
On your DVD page you have an option to choose 'rent', this creates a pop up, but in mozilla its a very small window and all I can read is "Great Choice! Place this in your queue by logging in now. If you're not a member yet, join" and I can't scroll to see the rest of it. Page down doesn't seem to be working so the old 'view source', Ok I aren't missing much.
This may be an American system but I'm confused, do you sell or rent these DVD's and things? I'm guessing you rent them (index image says 3 out at a time) but why then do you have a BIG buy from amazon link button and a tiny (semi-hidden) rent link ?
The 'quick tour' is a big flash file (which I can't view), I only found the contents below that from coming from the super bowl ad.
Good luck

The "Did you see our Super Bowl ad?" hook is great!
Regarding your operations, here's two competitors you may want to watch:
Zip.ca and VHQ.com

I love the DVD queue page, very nice and smooth. The guys are right about the copyright though, we had our entire site stolen by a bunch of amateurs once, very poor attempt too, they didnt even know how to blend their content in with the original by using css!! we only found out by accident that they had mirrored our site.
The site looks clean, and is good to see someone giving the competition a run for their cash...
