Having a logo that changes each time to load the page is kind of annoying. IMO you should have one logo that people will recognise as being you instead of having lots (more then 8 isnt it?) which people probably wont ever have seen.
1) I know this may be a little picky, but try to make all the tables the exact same width including any borders, etc... Currently the top table is wider then the bottom two.
2) Make the menu the same bg as that table cell. Right now it's a little darker, and you can see where the menu ends. Also- I don't think that blue goes too well. I would have it somewhere else on the page if you were going to use it. I would just make the blue a dark orange instead.
3) Keep the same logo on each page.
4) Talking about the logo... It still looks like a banner ad. What you want to do is make the bg color of the logo the same as the table cell (white). Then make some fancy text or maybe a cool symbol or something.
5) On 640x480 (I use 800x600) the menu overlaps the table cell it's inside. At least I think it does...

Definitely pick one logo and stick to it. The way it changes reall makes it seem like a banner ad. I like the first one that came up for me - blue background with kind of torn edges.
the menu background definitely has to be the same colour as the table background - you'll have to change one or the other. You should also get rid of that pale blue background - maybe try leaving the background and changing the text colour to blue?
Now, my big question is why is this a members only thing? All of this stuff can be obtained elsewhere without the bother of having to register, then remember a user name and password. Why should I become a member?
One more thing - I think you should make those content tables a little bit smaller so more of the blue background shows through.
This isn't going to be a complete resource site only, i need usernames and passwords so that a user can secure their name and return whenever they want to: Join in on a forum discussionm join the banner exchange, advertise their site etc. The usernames also let the users refer other users and gain credits in the banner exchange. Im not trying to beat TWF and other forums and services im just trying to put those services in one place where i can make sure everything is running well etc. Im also just trying to be an alternative to other services, many people at TWF are also members of other forums!
Thanks for the critism, but i want some hardcore critique if you can offer it!
Okay, what is wrong with your CURRENT design!!? It is great. Stick with the current design on the front page, it is nice, the logo is AWESOME! Just stick to that design. I do have one question though - what script did you use to make the drop down menu like Microsoft has? Btw, I can't wait until your site launches!
Ahh...my first critique since getting back from vacation. Good to be back.
-Your logo...it changes every time! They also look a lot like banners. Maybe have them in like a place where people can link to you and have them pick a banner they like? I agree with Megan and also like the one with the blue background and the torn edges.
-Also with the logo as someone else mentioned (sorry forget who), make it bigger or something. It looks to much like a banner add and at first I tried to click on it since a lot of banner ads are located on the top of sites too.
-As Jusin mentioned I don't like how that top table is wider than the bottom 2. Make them all the same width...or else.
-I also agree with Justin about the different color background on the menu. How it is darker than the rest of the table's orange. Make all the others darker (which I think looks better), or make that one lighter.
-Here is where I am going to disagree with Justin. Personally I like the blue when you put the mouse over it. It makes it stand out quite a bit which in my opinion is good.
-The text that says "Login" does not look right. It is just different. Also where it says "Click Here to Join" the here is so much smaller than the rest of the text.
I have been waiting for months now for this site to open. You had said January 1st, and I don't know what happened there. You said like the scripts weren't ready and stuff. You should of left the old one up while you were making this new one. Give people something to look at and do instead of just seeing a "Coming Soon" page.

This is great, im currently trying to change those things that you guys dont like! Thanks for all the critique its all good!
Matt & Parker im sorry about the delay, but i really do want the launch to go without and problems, im changing hosts, finishing scripts, loading content and making the conditions right for the launch, ill contact you when im finished, thanks for you patience!
At the very top, where Justin said the table was larger...you have a brighter blue....you really should fix that. But what I would do is keep the current design at http://www.doubleok.com! What is wrong with it?
2) The menu bg is still different then the bg of the table cell it's in. The menu color is a bit darker. Also- I think you should change the light blue to the dark blue you have in the logo.

As a first-time surfer to your page, I had no idea what "Double OK.com" was about. It would be nice if you could give a brief introduction instead of the login boxes at the start.
What kind of features does your site have? What benefits does it offer to webmasters? What do you have that no other webmasters site does? Things like this are important if you want to get subscribers and repeat visitors.
Your links table is oversized for the rest of the tables.
Fast loading time, and I like the logo. Having only one is a good way to brand your site's name and purpose.
I happened to really like the webpage. Only thing is that I think that table migth be too wide. Try shrinking that to make it more spaced out. For the menu bar, stretch the dark orange out more so it looks centered. I also thought the logo might be a smidget too small. Other than that, I really love the site
um, i went to the page u had listed above, a log in page. the design was fine, however, i have no clue what ur site is about besides something to do with webmasters. also, the announcement about the site is finally up now that it's june 2000, it's still only may.
good luck

As for the menu, it has the same hex number for the color as the rest of the orange, i have no idea why its darker, also i cant find out how to center it, i know i can make it wider, but that would make the design awkward looking for the smaller screen settings (600X480) any help would be greatly appreciated!
