demo
I've put a little demo of a new version of my site online. Nevermind the missing pics. It's not much but I just want to have your opinion about the 'non-square scroll thing' (I don't know how to call it )
Here's what it's about...

Nice light pink background in Netscape (and thats all) then I read your comment about it not working in Netscape after, so my mistake.
In IE, first impression was wooohooo caveman tv
I like the idea, looks great BUT dont think its very practical, I mean only half of it is full length so really that window is only half the size it is now, which is whats between the up and down arrows, cant read the last 5 or 6 lines at the end of the page.
also if you double click on the arrows or scroller it freezes (found that out by mistake)

I like the idea, but some of the words get cut off.

Thanx for the quick and mainly possitive replies

I know this ain't very practical, but the oval shape can be anything (ie. square with rounded corners, which is more practical). Also the margins of the content DIV can be changed to prevent text from being cut off.
But I agree that this is more like a nice effect rather than a good functionality.
The Gizmoid:
The problem is IE4. A friend of mine tested it on a Mac with IE5 and everything worked out fine. Maybe in future...

Any Jack, it didn't seem to work in IE 5.5 w/sp2. Plus it looked almost like it was written in a foreign language. I see that you are playing around with your page titles again, also.

It is written in a foreign language. Being a dutch guy implicates not speaking english whole the time
page titles: yeah... what about it?

Jack, I am kidding, of course about the foreign language. It's funny to see on foreign sites where I can understand nothing. Then I view the source code and I see words like function, body, html, etc.
The page title using all of those & nbsp's. It seems like you did one before that you had the spaces between the letters.
What about the page not working in my browser, IE 5.5? Weird though that I just tried it again and it worked.
The site is kind of retro. I wouldn't recommend it for a business but it would be a good site to show your skills.
