Curtis is back with a brand new look!
Hello Everyone,
It has been a while since I have been here. I thought I might ask your opinion. There are many of you that have been here since the begining, like me and have seen my site progress, but you haven't seen anything until now. I have a completely new look and I think you will like the new improvement.
You can see the current version at: http://www.1simple.com
This will give you an idea of what you are comparing too.
JP, brian, and the rest of you (can't remember everyone) what do you think?
I have several versions for you. Please pick your most favorite one and tell me why. Also, the sizes are kinda big, (60 - 80K)
What do you think? It isn't final, I'm still playing with it.
Site One: http://www.becharee.com/absite/test1.html - Has background.
Site Two: http://www.becharee.com/absite/test.html - No background
Site Three: http://www.1simple.com/cool/
Site Four: http://www.becharee.com/aasite/tryall.html
Thanks for your time!
Curtis

They all look good.
I like test1.html, it is more "simple"
The right amount of graphics.
Make the customer spotlight/awardwinning service, make the white transparent to it weill go with the background image better...
Yeah, I like the improvement myself, good job..

I like the first one as well. The second one is a bit too plain, so the background adds just enough interest. The fourth one is way too busy.
I actually can't think of anything else to say (and that's a rarity!). Looks really good!

Thanks you two.
Would you say that it is a major improvement than what is at the site now? Give you that WOW feeling? It is hard to tell once you have been picking at it forever.
That test1.html page is like 75 K. I was kinda wanting to get it down to about 60K, but do you think that animiated image does much good? Give it a smooth feeling?
Do you think a 75K is reasonable?
Webhosting.com - 67 K
burlee.com - 83 K I think
So, even some of the big hosting companies have big sites. Hmmmm.
Thanks for your time!

I like test #1 the best as well. The second one is just a little too plain.
I don't like the last two because I am not a big fan of frames.
Test #1 looks better than what you have now because it looks more professional. Looks more put together in my opinion.
Good job! I have liked seeing your progression.

I'm going to agree with the majority, that test1 is the best choice. It is a nice, clean layout and looks very good, I'd say the designer did a nice job. It's a big improvement over the current site, because it looks much more "corporate" in style. Good work!

I think one of the hardest things is to try to look at your site like someone else would see it, after you have looked at it a million times and tweaked it countless number of times.
Brian,
What, you don't think I could have and built it? Well, maybe I didn't, but that is because I can't, but hey!

No, no .
I just saw the http://www.becharee.com before most of the sites and figured that they were a design company. I think you told me you didn't design them yourself before, anyway
