http://www.centennialcra.com/rnt/ is a single page that I am considering using as a site template.

R-n-T is a trailer repair company and wanted a 'corporate' look - and this is my first attempt. Suggestions/comments welcome before I show it to client.

Hi,
Looks very nice! Few comments though:
The top grey round thing. Make it a bit smaller! It's a bit tall for the text that's in it!

Also, maybe take some of the paragraphing out. It's very spaced out and looks a little odd!

1) Center the site, and put a pixel width to the table. 'Cause at really high resolutions the text will look weird all the way across the page.

2) The picture of the truck is realyl blurry, and overall pretty ****py image quality wise.

3) The grey image at the top needs one more line of text under the top two.

4) Does R-n-T has a corporate logo, other then just that plain text? If yes, then it needs to be added to the logo.

Andyb,

Group your paragraph headings with their paragraphs. And try using a larger text size on the paragraph headings.

This, in addition to the items already mentioned.

The menubar area looks nice to me, but the main content area looks a little plain...

thanks for suggestions, new URL is http://www.centennialcra.com/rnt2

changes made:
600 px table in centre
para headings larger (overpowers with NS, so I'll probably need two CSS files in the final version)
paragraphs tightened up - it's only dummy text anyway
big grey thing - three lines of text now
blurry truck - well it was a compromise between quality and loading speed: perhaps in 'final' version I'll go higher quality.

PS - Justin always seems to say the logos look blurry. Is his monitor clean

I really like the left menu area - really interesting use of lines. The grey bevelled thing doesn't go with that at all though - totally different design themes (left area is flat and square, bevelled thing is 3D and rounded). Something different needs to be done with that IMO.

Good job!

I agree that the top thingy doesn't go with the whole site..
