About Google adsense: I think the top and bottom 468x60 text ads need to be centered but good job with the colours. Adding 'banner only' ads, not just text ads, around the site would also make them more visually appealing.

Site in General: For the main top logo I would probably make the text 'Coffee Mall' Stand out much more, maybe just a full coffee color with white shadow. You may also want to add a little picture of a coffee cup or something on the banner, because their are only two pictures on your homepage and very few on the other pages. Pictures are important because a website full of text is boring for any visitor to look at!

I like the navigation of the site and the colours reflect well with the nature of the site. Good luck with it.

Great color scheme and the banner isn't bad except for the text which was mentioned. I would work on some of the grammar and spelling on your website because I noticed a few errors just on the front page. That can be a big turn-off and make you look very unprofessional.

Also, simply from a technical standpoint, I think you should get rid of the "I don't like coffee" option on the poll. If they don't like coffe, they aren't going to come to your website, seeing as how that's what it is all about. Just a thought.

Good luck with your website. You do have some stiff competition out there, as I have actually seen a couple great websites out there with the same topic. Wink

What interested me to look at this site is that it is a Joomla site. I have recently done a Joomla site myself.

You have an excellent template and made good use of the rss feeds.

I like the way that you used the amazon feed in your catalog. I did not even know it was an amazon list until I clicked on one of the products.

I really liked the way that you setup your breadcrumb links. It was done very well.

This site overall is an excellent use of Joomla.

Ok first up I have to ask, what ever happened to good old instand coffee Laughing out loud

Layout:
Both pages listed give a horziontal scroll at 800x600, this means diddly to some but am seeing some upset layout, example the default address (coffee-mall.com/) the reddish strip does not go all the way across the page in Firefox (at 800x600) so doubt it would on bigger screen too, it ends about half way through the 'home' link which is hard against the right border yet the left border has some margin.
The google ads are making the page so wide

The mall folder (coffee-mall.com/mall/) has slightly different layout problems.
The top banner is about 1 1/2 inchs away from the right border, and the 'Accessories' column starts under the 'mall' link. The copyright strip is same as the top banner but the links under that pushs the page wider again, the copyright strip ends half way through the last ad graphic.

These are problems at 800x600 but am sure they would be there at larger resolutions as well.

The design has a nice friendly, inviting feel to it until you go to check out or view the shipping options (like if you ship internationally), the page is an amazon page so I'd probably be more inclined to just shop via them.

Just lunched our Coffee Mall to complement to your interests. is that a pun or typo? Actually looking at the index there are a couple of grammer errors.
"Don’t regret to distribute your experience in coffee making and other interesting stuff connected with coffee." distribute may not be right word there.

" ...if I can’t have my morning cup of fresh good smelling coffee".
maybe somethign like "...if I can’t have my morning cup of freshly brewed, good smelling coffee"

"It comes to me that coffee is one of 1 essential elements of our cooking culture. And I decided to collect useful and interesting information about coffee and coffee making and share it with you. If you are here, you probably like coffee as strong as I do and you know a lot about it."
replace with:
It comes to me - It came to me
1 - our (or mans)
And I - So I
Don't make assumptions, just because people like/love coffee it doesnt mean they like it strong, or know a lot about it.

"Most items are reviewed by different people and you would be able to make 2 good choice even with unaccustomed items."
and - so
2 - a
unaccustomed items - proves my point they may not know a lot about coffee
*Note I suck at grammer and spelling so maybe some one that can spell can help more on these*

I love coffee, even got the t-shirt Smiling but for me personally this site has way to many ads. Has nice layout and fell so go for it

Looks not too bad. You can tell it's made by a CMS but that's alright.

About the adsense - they look good but I think 3 on a page is too much. The one on the right side is too far down to really be seen by anyone so I'd remove that. You can check your adsense results and see which ones work best.

I just noticed that your page title is very short - page titles are very important for the search engines so you'll want to get some good keywords in there. Come up with a descriptive phrase to add there that includes some good keywords that you want to target. The main intro text is similar. I'm guessing you don't speak English as a first language becasuse this intro is reading like it was translated using one of those automatic translator things. Get a native speaker to help you with this, and make sure you get some good keywords in there as well.

Really, I'm starting to feel like this site was built for the sole purpose of getting revenue from Adsense. People won't want to stay if they get that feeling. So more emphasis on content and less on advertising.

Overall I think you did a good job. You have some good information there and a seemingly diverse range of it. What made it a little harder for me to browse the site was the wealth of ads. It's extremely annoying to me but that's mostly personal preference. I'd say maybe remove 1 of them, probably the top one? The design will scale well the more content you add to it.

My opinion on the color scheme is that it's decent and works well but seems a little bland. I'm big on graphics and contrasting colors though, and with your subject matter you probably don't really need the fluff.

While everyone seems to like "breadcrumbs" I think it's too redundant to have the same persistent links on both the top menu bar and the left navigation menu. You could probably remove most of the redundant stuff on the left which would be more useful and interesting to the user.

Two small problems: you have to scroll at 800 x 600, and you can't resize text in IE at higher resolutions. Smiling

nice workout.

I liked it. Suits the theme and the product itself.

Overall not too bad...maybe a different colour combination on the menu mouse over.

One thing that did confuse me...I clicked on the flavoured coffee and ended up with a welcome message and a browse box.

It looks very 'template-ish'. Joomla is the deal, right? I'd say try and get away from the layout because these types of sites are a dime a dozen on the net. On the other hand, the colors are very pleasant, and the images in the main news area are very nice.

I agree with some of the above comments to snip out a few ads, or make them less in your face.

is your icon in the address bar the actual logo? it'd be cute to see a coffee cup steaming up in my address bar instead Sticking out tongue
