it's a bit basic, but it'll do for linking from profiles online chat rooms etc. You've got alot of info about yourself there. Not sure about the google search bar at the top of the pages rather than a title graphic.

go to http://www.freeserifsoftware.com for free pro design software to create a graphic.

Clicked on an adsense ad, I was interested!!! Hope you put that 4 cents to good use Smiling

I've seen much, much worse so not a bad effort at all.

Definately needs some work on your color scheme. Maybe a title graphic instead of just the text. Ya know, jazz it up some! Smiling

Dark Gray and Blue hurts the eyes, on your links there.
A mouse-over effect could be good here too.

You could have a banner or logo in place instead of the Welcome Again text header...

You could lay out the content area with BG to make it more interesting, it doesnt contrast well with the design, especially with the default font used.

Good principle though, simple always work, you just need to work out the overall scheme...

I'd suggest to use another color scheme.

Now it looks that site was created to make some money from AdSense. Not the best way to start... If people will see site is made for money (not for information0, they will run away...

I guess the e-communities page is just stuffed up with links that practically speaking, dont think you'll get hits from there. ok, that was just my view, and mind that I'm just as new to this as you are..so may be I'm wrong. But let me know, how your site progresses.

btw, do let me know how my site works. http://xooxonline.info

Oh. I didn't notice that the box is in such a bright color.
Will change that.
umm...
I am not too keen to use template actually...
Because it looks cluttered if I want to edit it with notepad..
Any opinion?

As mentioned the colours need to be toned down, it gets real hard on your eyes going from that site to this.
Try not to focus on trying to get rich from a web site, if you want a personal site create it without ads and affiliate links, get it how it's clean, readable and flows then if you must, then ruin it with ads.

LoL..
yeah, I agree with u..
I will tone it down. but what kind of color is not too hard on eyes?
And.. i just got a new domain name. And I will post all the rest of those things on it..
I havent develop it yet. So, I will let u know the name when it is ready.

Blue links on a different blue background is hard on the eyes. Maybe try a lighter color for the links in the blue part such as beige, etc., or perhaps leaving the links as they are and trying a lighter background color would work (that would mean a darker color than white for the text, though). I'm also seeing a bunch of black text below the white text that doesn't go well with the background, along with the reddish "Welcome once again" at the top (reddish text generally doesn't go well with a blue background).

Also, the "Welcome once again" sentence would probably look better if it was even with the "Home" link towards the top. I see you have in there, so it must be either the tag or the Google search box placement that is moving "Welcome once again" down too low.

Good luck! Smiling

some of the colours should change. the purple text at the top, maybe change the background color of the text boxes to white or something to differentiate them a bit from the rest of the background.

also maybe try using css to change the colour of the links when i hover over them

All I can say is keep working! The layout is really outdated and uninteresting...Try to modernize this site more.I think that this will really help you..

Right, besides being overly simple on your design, your colours need work. Should try to make the site look more professional. Depending on the purpose of your website, then changing the entire layout/design may or may not be the right idea.

I made some modification on the color already. the background is light blue..
The navbar is in green color..
Should be better right?

And I have removed the search box on top to make the be on top..
Will put it below every pages and make a special page to put the search button to search info on my website..

what do u guys think?
