First of all, that banner ad has got to go. There's too many scroll bars here, because the main frame is giving me two of its own, both horizontally and vertically (no idea why). If that's paying for your hosting you might have to live with it, but you'd be surprised at how little it'll cost to get a bit of add-free web space.
The layout is rather boring in my eyes. Shades of blue that don't go with darker, greener, shades of blue... boring serif font logo that's too big and kind of lost in space there, no interesting graphics of any sort...
On to some more constructive criticism! The shades of blue you have for the nav areas and background are quite good so go with that, but do something different with the content area - those don't match at all. The left navbar is nice, so it would be okay to leave that. Lose the top one - no need to have two like that, unless you put the horizontal one at the bottom.
Get yourself a graphics program and start playing around with it. This is a personal site, it's okay to have fun with it. Try something different.
I am not too crazy about the overline on your links. The two shades of blue that you are using in the basketball and news tables do not go with the other blues on the page. I think that the top nav and side nav are really too close together to have the same thing in both places. just my opinion. The text in the top nav might look better if it were centered and bigger or bold. Or you could make that table height smaller. I'd loose the "todays date" thingy.
Your link, Friend Pics, should be Friends shouldn't it? The photo of chad took about 3 minutes to load on my computer and the reason being is that it is actually 1600 X 1200 pixels and you have used the image tags to resize it.
chad.jpg" width="303" height="236"
Pictures of you....well, if only I was young again.
The comments box on the contact page should be narrower and taller. It looks skinny.
You can download a free version of paint shop pro and use it to resize your photos for the web.
Oh I forgot something. I think that on the top nav bar, if you keep it, you should do text rollovers instead of having the whole table cell change color.

I know the site is boring. I almost done with the Flash site i have been working on. And for those ads, I just purchased webspace. I just kind of wanted to see some opinions. I tell you when everything is up and running. Til then thanks.

In netscape4.7 I have a scroll bar 3 sections wide at 800x600, and the layouts not pretty.
That scrolling status bar thingy has to go, very annoying and doesnt work very well anyway, (it doesnt refresh, displays one time over and over).
In IE5 I have a horziontal scroll bar but without a scroll bar thingy. (the ole whatyamacallits missing).
the mouseover td thingy is a IE only thing, and looking at your code you have a few blank td cells, lots of extra p, div and font tags (begining and end tags of each).
Your layout needs a theme but what you have so far is bsaic so there no reason it cant work in netscape and ie, dont get sucked into the "just because you can, doesnt mean you should"
your downliad link doesnt work either
I am curious why you have a login, its a peronal site isnt it?
oops forgot to be bold

Speaking of JavaScript, I know disaster-master mentioned the "today's date thingy" but I'm not sure which one he was speaking of since there a couple on that page. ... I highly recommend dropping the scrolling date in the status bar. Most users have a clock in the right-hand corner of their screen that is current (compared to the scrolling one that is only current as of the page's loading) and also more importantly, I know that when I hover over a link I like to know exactly where I'm being sent.

Obviously not meant to work in v4.x browsers.
Can you buy your way out of that imposed namezero frame?

I know that the site isn't exactly up to code. Infact I believe that it only works in internet 5.0 and up.
Like I said before, i bout a hosting plan. I also have designed an entirely new website.
Thanks for your comments.
