Well my first attempt at a post, went into oblivion I guess. Anyway this is a template I made a while back, and decided to rework my old web-site with it. It still has some work left to do. But I want some opinions on the fluid part 8x6 - 1024x768.

If you have a browser other than FF or IE, let me know how it checks out. I was able to check it out in the former two. But have no way of checking it in any other. Smiling

Your first post went into oblivion because you didn't read the posting agreement Wink

To me this doesn't look much different from what you've had before - from what I recall anyway. One thing I notice is that the camera is pointing off the edge of the page. This would work the same as a photo of a person looking in a certain direction - having it face off the edge of the page draws the eye in that direction, rather than pointing it towards the content.

The layout is a slight improvement over what you had before. The addition of some colour is nice. I'm not too keen on those fine stripes sidebar (I remember scan lines like that were really popular right around 1999. There was an old TWF design that had some scan lines like that in the header Laughing out loud)

Ah, I see what you're getting at - the photo expands to fill the space. Is that all you're looking for feedback on? Looks fine to me. That photo actually works quite well when it expands and contracts. It doesn't look mishapen or anything.

Ok what megan said fairly sums it pu... its no different than your previous site design, but this layout is far much better, I think its not really finished yet? but if you want comment on the photo part, this looks ok, if the picture remains of a landscape, because when you put a photo of someones space there, when you resize it kinda warps the image, and you can see the pixels merge and rash now too... just an opinion...
