I read the critique in the graphics forum and agree completely with everything that was said there. What really needs the most work is the title - It's so hard to read.
The design of the little squid icon does not seem to fit - but your site has a certain design element that makes it work.
I think it's good.
Now I am just waiting for you to get some content up so we can all see what this site is all about.

I'm deleting the other thread about this, so here's the one review that was posted about it by Megan Jack...

1) Splash page looks good, but unless you're going to have something other then "Enter" it's not worth it. I'd say scrap it. The squid also doesn't go with the design, like everyone said.
2) The main page is a little too wide for my 800x600 resolution. You need to make the table exactly 780 pixels in width. Then it will fit...
3) The design is VERY original. I like it. Looks like something I would see at CoolHomepages (www.coolhomepages).
4) The navigation needs some work. I didn't figure it out actually until I accidently moved my mouse over one of those "block" type things. I think you can build on that, so it's easier for people to figure out your navigation.
5) What's up with that teal color on the bottom? I'd say if you want to use that color you need to include it in other places.
