C&C comments again :)
Hello,
I made some changes to C&C so i was wondering if i can get your input. I put a line seperating the links on the left from the middle. Let me know if that is good. Also i made the bottom links white. I am looking to make them rollovers that will turn red when ya go over them but am having trouble The "browse Products" and "browse Services" images on the left i re did them so they are not indented. For some reason every font i try they still come out a little blurry so feed back on that would be great also. My main feedback i would like though is to tell me if that vertical line i put in there looks good to serperate the middle from the left links. Any other comments and feedback would be great too. Thank you everyone in advance for your help!!!

I like it - it looks professional and with a bit of tweaking should be ready for release...

Glad to see you got the hovers working
Anyway, I think I mentioned this the last time, but I really don't like your use of the bright red. It's really hard to read against the blue on the bottom menu, and I really don't think that these two colours match very well. I would like to see you use more of the yellow you've got in the logo.
In the middle of your front page you could a) highlight some sort of special product or service. A special offer or a really great product or something like that or b) talk about who you are and what this site is about. I think that a is the better idea. Nobody's going to care who you are and I think people would appreciate it if the site told them which products are the best, if there was a sale on, etc.
Rollovers on the side menu might be a good idea too.

Megan always reads my mind - so ditto to what she says.
Also, put some space between the last of the 'browse products' and the next header. It's just too squashed.
To get help with rollovers, check out this discussion. I am not the most proficient on the web - but I figured it out thanks to everyone here!

Megan you say the rollovers are working fine, but whenever i look at the site they arnt working? I got the links working great but when i move my mouse over them they dont turn any color? Are you sure they are working like you said? I think i may be missing something. I am using Internet Explorer and am just not seeing it. Any ideas on that would be great. Also i like your idea about the middle part, i have decided to put some images there, and i think thats where i am going to use alot of yellow. And about brooke's comment, maybe i will put some space between the "browse products" and the header.
Does that line look good though on that page? I just put that on? I am referring to that grey line next to all the links on the left? Anyways thanks for all your comments. Anymore would be appreciated.

Oh, I forgot you wanted opinions on the gray bar - I like it. I think that it does it's job, but is subtly enough that it doesn't stand out. That's good!

Grey bar looks fine - just try to fix it so it is centered between the top and bottom blue bars (hope this makes sense).
The hover is working just how it should be for me. I have no idea why it's not working for you. Maybe try changing the order of your style definitions.

1) I'm using IE5 and the hover on the links doesn't work. Getting nothing over here.
2) That shopping cart looks stupid- maybe find a different image of one or just make it text.
3) The bottom bar with the other text navigation doesn't have to be two lines long (if you get what I'm saying).
4) Logo looks cool, but I don't really like the drop shadow. Maybe it's too far away? Maybe?
5) The grey line is a little too wide. I would make it 2 pixels at most. Probably 1 pixel..
6) Add some bullets to the menu. That would be perfect.
Overall it's good, just needs a little work.

What on earth are you using to write this stuff? Some of your code consists of dozens of identical font definitions repeated, repeated, repeated.
Assuming I was looking at your home page, there seemd to active links to home, as well as some of the links were repeated at the top, at the left, and at the bottom.
That should ensure nobody ever gets lost
Just as a nice touch for IE users, you might want to add onClick=window.focus() to each link so the dotted line disappears.

Andy what do you mean? I am using Dreamweaver 2. What do you mean about what you were saying about the links?

He is just saying the code is pretty messy (atleast in some spots)
for example, you have the following:
http://www.thehungersite.com - http://www.therainforestsite.com
http://www.ratemymullet.com - Beauty is only mullet deep.

In DreamWeaver select “Commands > Clean Up HTML “. That will take care of a lot of it.

About window.focus ...
With Explorer, when you click a link a dotted box appears around it. If you return to the page with that link, you will find that the dotted box has persisted. (Netscape does not suffer from this).
So what I meant was that if inside each a href = blah bla blah you add onClick=window.focus() it will take the focus away from the link and put the focus on the window - the net effect is that the dotted box around the clicked link goes away
Robp - thanks for making my comment about the redundant, repetetive code clear to all.

not bad! Move the nav bars up a little though. I think you need something to the right of the logo too. I like it a lot, nice job, keep up the great work!
