And before you get all excited it's plastic scale models, not the female kind Wink

A thread in another section (about white text on black backgrounds) tempted me to quickly redo this old site of mine.

I still have to replace the model pictures (will all be on white backgrounds) and have to redo the tips pages (organize the contents)

The background isn't white, it's #fafafa (off white), be interesting to hear if it's passable on better/bigger moniters, mine is old and crappy.

You know what to do ...

Looks good, busy! I like what you've done with the header text as well as the nice light look and feel. I think there shoudl be a little more space between the logo text, navbar, and the line underneath. Actually, it might be best to move the navbar underneath the line. The right alignment of the navbar and left alignment of the logo text are in conflict. Maybe take out some of the special characters in the navbar too. Maybe just a dash in between would be best (the slash is pulling the eye in a diagonal path which I find a little jarring).

I'm finding most of the pictures to be a tad bit fuzzy. Did you try running a sharpen filter on those? It might help.

On the tips page, do something about those grey backgrounds. Maybe a pale yellow/beige would work instead. On the content pages themselves, lighten it up a lot. Also use proper headings and paragraph tags to put proper spacing around text elements. That will make it all much easier to read. The "me" page also has something funky going on with line breaks in the middle of a line.

Didn't think I would find that much to say about this! Laughing out loud

I love the JavaScript on the eyes bit at the bottom ("best viewed with your eyes!")

Megan, I remembered you also liked the black background version (the previous one), I did try the nav under the line but the tips, models and projects pages also have a line of links which kind of makes that corner to busy. Centered may work but am stuck on 800x600 so am unsure what would be like on big screens. Have adjusted the nav dividers.
The pictures are fuzzy, they are all old and will be replaced, the index page image is the only new one so far, the tips pages are yet to be done, the greys are left overs from the black background as mentioned.
Thanks

02bunced, you haven't been a meanie have you Wink *you'll know what I mean if you clicked the eyes*

I forgot to mention, as am sure someone will mention it, if you try validate the source it will give you an error (or many) as my htaccess file redirects 3rd parties to msn.com (and their site has many errors), in Opera you can right click and frame/validate source to validate if you must.

I REALLY like what you've done here! I love it! What you've done with the image on the front page is unique and it's great. The different views of the models on rollover is a perfect touch.

Can't find anything to be picky about! Bravo!

I would make the front page models clickable. I immediately scanned them with my mouse to see if I could click them. You may want to work on the logo a bit and superimpose a model car of some sort -- perhaps your favorite one.
