Banner critique?
A slightly different request...anyone want to critique my first banner attempt? I already plan to put a border around the edge (I think it needs one), but is there anything else I should change?
The url is http://www.RewardsLookup.com/images/BannerAd.gif .
Thanks!

Its pretty good but here are a few suggestions:
When it says "what do you want to earn today?" You could have a picture of a confused looking person or someone who is thinking about something. Then when it says : Rewardslookup.com
you shoudl get rid of that drop shadow effect and just make it solid text. Also where it says "Click here" you should make that more of a button looking style instead of flat.

Travis's ideas are very good! Also- you might want to put a border around the whole banner...

I would more frequent flier miles to the left just a bit, it just feels 'off'.

Suggested changes are in. After putting the border on, the "Frequent Flyer Miles" didn't seem to look so out of place (since you can now see more easily where the box ends), so I didn't move it. Thanks all!

I thought the time of the last frame was a little long. Other than that it looked good

I have considered the last frame time, and chose a long display because I'm hoping as much for "name exposure" as actual clicks. Didn't want annoyingly fast images, either. I probably should have cut it back a couple of seconds or so, but I've already submitted it to the banner exchange I'm trying.
Out of its 500+ displays so far, I only got 1 click , but that would be for discussion in another area of this forum...!

Hi,
It's alright. Nothing special. Sorry about that. But it doesn't really jump out of the screen at you! I think you need an image of something, not really sure what. Maybe some money or something like that!

I made an HTML banner containing a search box. Any comments on this one? (I had a really hard time condensing the search instructions into such a small space. Any suggestions are appreciated!)

Looks good to me for an HTML banner. I would move the text away from the sides as much as you can though...

It is far too confusing for a banner. Banners should catch your attentiona nd be understood almost imediately. The latter fails to do this.
