It's okay I guess. I'm also not too keen on the red and blue. I would try a set of more muted colours which will surely look a lot more professional. Also lose the stupid waving cartoon on the right side - again, it looks very unprofessional.

*welcome to pop up city lol*

Well I'm going to be different and say its a good base for something promising, Its very red and blue but think you need another color to break/blend it, maybe a faded grey from the top corner, but not going into the text section.

If you do keep these colors, the links need to be a different color, even bold maybe. could even make the circle beside the links change color on mouseover

the text section doesnt line up in NS4.7 btw but that could be from lack of content.

The more i look at that little guy the more i want him to say something, maybe close his mouth or put a paint brush or something in it, it doesnt wave for me

Desaturate the red and blue. Maybe not too much because I get the feeling you're going for a lively, electric kinda feel (?)

I think the cartoon guy (is that you, by any chance?) might be a good idea, but not the way it is. Why not characterize him a bit more? You could make him part of the theme of the site - like a mascot, if thats the word. Smiling

I don't really like the bevelling on the title text. I can't see what effect or purpose there is to it. Sad

One final note: the part-circle at the top-left could do with something more. It's somewhat invisible among the squares. You may add a logo, or some such object there? How about some sort of hover effect on the links, resulting in an image swapping up there?

As Busy said, this is looking promising. I look forward to seeing where it ends up. Smiling

Thanks for all the feed back so far.

Busy: I did what you said with the faded grey and it does look better.

Abhishek: That top left circle hover idea was what i was thinking about doing, but im still trying to figure that one out Smiling

Looking better, not sure about the black for your banner name thou, to dark.
The little blue dot next to the links isnt really needed, how about making the bigger blue dots change, either color, shape or both.
You might also want to make your table width 100%, ther is a slight white line between your layout and the scroll bar (vert) at 800x600, I didnt study your code but if the white at the left is a background you could add the color of the grey as a body background, this way it will display right of your layout filling in the gap at 800x600 or bigger (that make sense?)

Ya that makes sense Smiling

Thats what I wanted to do, but coding isn't my strong point. Im not sure how to make a mouse over change a graphic in a different cell of the table.....But if I search the web a bit more im sure i will figure it out Smiling

<script LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
<!-- Begin
function imgover(imgname){
imgname.src = "arrow.gif"
}
function imgout(imgname){
imgname.src = "arrow2.gif"
}
// End -->
&lt;/script&gt;
'

Your script there will change an image in any part of the page. It doesn't only apply to images in the same cell or area. Wink

Split up image_2x1.gif into several parts so the dots are each in a different image. Then just use your code to swap whichever dot you need to. Smiling

The colors are much better now. Your really should do something about the title. Black is too dark... and plain. Since this is a graphics site you should show off your skills a little. Don't overdo it though Laughing out loud.

Looking at the rest of the layout, how about connecting the last two dots at the bottom and closing off the main rectangle, and adding a bottom-margin to the page (like the top)?

Otherwise, it looks much better. Smiling
