Just want some opinions on my site.
http://AtomicPixels.Com

Site has been re-written in PHP, using one index file as a template and including content. There is another PHP file allowing visitors to customize what content is displayed (using cookies).

I am on a 56K, so my perception is that it can be quite a bit slow at times. I'm curious what you all think about it's speed, as well as the design and whatnot.

So let me have it!

I don't like the blue borders. Your logo needs some work. The whole patch of blue on top doesn't serve much purpose.

I'm sure your programming is well done, but your visual design needs some work.

Take the logo banner for instance. The font is plain and boring (just HTML text!), there is no eye catching graphic or anything like that. It looks so boring. It's usually important to have a good, eye-catching logo. Try playing around with photoshop/psp effects and filters to fancy up your logo.

Overall it just doesn't look like you've put as much thought into the visual design as you have with the backend.

Hmm, yeah, I agree with Megan. You have an 'artwork' type site that doesn't have a graphical interface. That's a little weird. There are a lot of problems with the site design and graphic wise (the problem is there aren't any graphics!) so I'm just going to say scrap this design and go all out. Even if that means taking six months to come up with a killer design...

Thanks for the feedback.

I run the site and write scripts, and my bro makes graphics in a sub site (The Pushpin).

The 'logo' text was suppose to be a temporary thing, but I've had it there for about a month (I forgot about it). I'll get my bro (photoshop phreak) on that.

Did you find it easy to navigate?
What would you say I do with the blue borders?
