I wanted to know your overall opinion of the site, the color scheme, logo, and the navigation. Its seems like as i keep adding more pages to the site , the navigation aspect might get a little confusing.
thanks

Well the first thing that jumps out at me is that it looks a little messy. Everything is a loose fit and i think that if you tightened up some of the gaps between text and borders and between elements it may help the look of the page. Also the blue links on the dark background are quite hard on the eyes, you may want to change the color of those links to something lighter.

Your top menu needs some fixing too. The message board link falls out of its green box in mozilla. And I realise that the 'Recent Alternative Health News' section is probably a cut and paste script however it would be better to have some of the text of the stories after each link instead of just a bunch of links because everything else on the page is just a bunch of links also.

It does have some potential, just get it 'tighter' if you can figure out what I mean by that Smiling

Hi,

I think people who have problems with colour blindness will not be able to read the blue links on the green background.

When you go to a sub page the title bar drops down to allow a page title to go in above it. I think this would be better if it went below the title bar. Otherwise the page seems to jump.

The content seems very good though, and that is the hardess thing to fix.

You have spelt "coming" incorrectly - "Message board comming soon" it is only a small thing but looks bad. If the message board isn't ready I would not bother putting any reference to it on the site.

I hope this helps,

Peter

Here's a good article on color blindness:

And a tool you can use to see what your site would look like to people with varying forms of colorblindness;

I'm having a hard time reading the blue links on the black background. Learn how to use CSS to style links differently for different parts of the page.

One thing that strikes me about this page is that it doesn't say who you are and why you know about this stuff. NOrmally I wouldn't think this is necessary but in the case of health care, alternative or not, I think it definitely is necesary. There is a lot of shady information floating around out there, and people know that. Saying who you are and how you know about alternative medicine would give your site more credibility.

It kinda looks like there's a style sheet missing!

Is there any reasoning behing the colour scheme or do you just not like white? I only say this because many web designers feel that they need to fill white space when it's not really necessary.
Experiment with layout using as little colour as possible. I'm a strong believer that colour should have a purpose (i.e. drawing the viewers eye to certain details). If you use to much colour just for the sake of it, you end up with a very confused website that has no "identity".

Also, I recommend staying away from Times New. Arial is the font of choice because of its simplicity, easy to read and professional looking (plus: everybody has it installed on their machine!)

Keep up the good work!
