Below is the website I'm making for my girlfriend .. I only put a few hours into it and came up with a mock, but its under construction and will be developing shortly.
Lemme know what you think.

Nice overall. Perhaps the buttons are a bit too big .. and pay attention in the header at the corners .. they are light grey and the background is darker ... not bad anyway .. keep us posted on the development

Yeah the navigation buttons are a bit much on the heavy side... The header image is quite good though... Also notice that you have a gradient background, which actually shows that your curved corners are not showing as a curve, the background color of the actual div shows through... (a light gray shade)

I really like the site, and I think the buttons suit, actually! I think you may run out of space once you get some content in there though. I am a big fan of the header, and I love that you used a gradient in the background. I would change your image preview.jpg to a .gif, and then your image doesn't have to be square.
Great job!

It's a nice idea, but it is going to take some work. The buttons are a bit big, but they really aren't too bad, in my opinion. They look just a bit too big for me, and I'm at a screen resolution of 800x600. I like the layout. Very nicely done and very professional-looking. I would also suggest changing it to a GIF or something so you can get rid of the corners.
