Besides this one, what are your favourite places to go for help in your webmastering tasks? What are the sites that you find yourself returning to when you need a resource, or to find out how to do something? I thought that maybe this thread could become a neat repository for particularly helpful bookmarks. Here are some of mine:

http://www.w3schools.com - I use their CSS & xhtml references quite often (although their font is teensy in Opera so I always have to switch to User mode when I go there)
http://developer.irt.org/script/script.htm - really useful Javascript FAQ. I don't use Javascript very often but when I do this is a good place to go for help.
http://www.dingbatpages.com/ - for dingbats!

The most frequently visited (or maybe even the only) resource site for me is http://www.php.net/

I use the sidebar options on NS7, allows you to check CSS1, CSS2, XHTML (trans, strict ..) etc from the side bar, works from the zvon.org site

also sites like hotscripts.com
and w3c.org (but is very hard to find anything and easy to get lost)

The sites that help me out most are http://www.webmonkey.com for html reference, http://www.hotscripts.com for server side scripts, http://www.javascriptsource.com for client side scripts and being here has to be the biggest help of all Wink

One of the first sites I ever used was John Pollock's pageresource.com. I still go there every now and then if I forget something very basic. Smiling
