You know all the good domain names are taken when....
You see start-ups called "Noodly", "Renkoo", "Yedda" or other assorted made-up crap.

Domain name squatting has such a great effect, don't you think?

I actually like domains like that. They are fun and people remember them, they are good for branding too.

See, it's getting to the point of being rediculous. I think this was a cool idea back when google did it, but now it's getting out of control. Too many sites trying to do the same thing and hope some sort of oddball name will catch on.
Typical with the whole "Web 2.0" paradigm though... do something trendy so you can be cool.

How about names of sites named after non-english terms which actually means something, like mambo, to joomla, etc...?
