XSL and XML
I am not going to complain! Whats all the fuss about XML - seems pointless to me. Or it used to until I found I needed to bone up it quickly.
I get an XML feed which I have to convert to CSV then import into MYSQL.
Found a neat little script to enable me to get it into HTML and then C&P into Excel.
THE PROBLEM
Some of the fields are in spanish and therefore have some letters with Gravs and Accents etc. When I output the data from SQL is goes beserk.
I need some help with getting a way to make global changes to a XML file on the fly using XSL - ie: Converting the Spanish characters so when viewed as HTML they have changed to the English equivilent.
Great forum BTW.
Thanks in advance:confused:
