Xara Webstyle 2 is free with PC Plus Magazine. Just picked it up and trying it out now - it creates very cool 3-d logos, banners and navigation graphics (and more). http://www.xara.com

The 'about' says the program was compiled late 2002. I've added a few headers to my site, you can see them at the start of the Diary on the main page, and at the top of each major page (Words, Photos, Contact, etc.)

Feel free to comment here or in the SNW review thread.

Doesn't seem to be anything that any of the other raster apps can't do? What's the advantage of Xara? I'd say it would be better to compare it to Draw or Illustrator, and do 3D, not 2D illustrations to show it off.

It does seem to have a price tag that other raster apps can't match Smiling

Edit: Or maybe not.... $69 seems to be quite a lot considering that PSP costs about the same. Check out the webstyle example graphics - ick!

Hmmm, it was something I considered getting when I started out but then decided against it as 3D buttons and logos weren't something that was on my list of things to do for very long!

Julia - if life was meant to be easy Michael Angelo would have painted the floor....
