hey guys, this problem just started today?
if you look at my site here:

Look in the text there are a bunch of weird characters, now it DOES NOT look like this in DREAMWEAVER but looks like that on the web page!
any ideas!

Yes that charecter set meta tag is very important! Also if you copy and paste from a word processor such as MS Word you'll get all kinds of funky charecters.
