Window Fonts
It is fustrating to realize that applying CSS to keep font size fixed is not enough. Some computers have their font size set to large in there control panel>display>setting>advanced . With large fonts, my page does look as nice at all. Is there anyway to get around this?? Thanks.
Cheers,
Carmo

As far as I know... no.
You could think of turning text into a graphic. Then all text will appear the same on all systems no matter what presettings the users has. With a lot of text it's not really an option, because of the increasing downloadtime.
Hope it helps...

Oh, just give up already. There are too many things the users can, and will, mess with. It's hopeless, we'll never be able to get our pages to look the way we want for everyone. :whine:
But seriously though, I can't think of a way to get around the system settings if CSS isn't working. I wonder if there's a way to detect for this??? I'm assuming you're aware of the dangers of doing this right? Some people might have their fonts set large for a good reason etc. etc.?
Edit: Welcome to TWF! I hope you'll top by the introductions forum and let us know a little more about yourself.
