There are a few that I've noticed are talked about all the time. All are php driven.
1) Typo3
2) phpCMS - Originally in German, but has english docs.

Not on that list (which needs updating and includes both free and pay options) is http://developer.ez.no/article/static/7/ -- I'm using it on a client site and it's quite extensive, but apparently lacks some documentation.
