What are your favourite web development add-ons for Firefox?
As mentioned elsewhere, I'm working on an article for beginners about web development software. I am including a small bit about Firebug and other browser add-ons. I have quite a few others that I like to use as well, such as:
- FirePicker (colour picker)
- GridFox
- MeasureIt
- Screen Grab
- Web Developer Toolbar
What are your favourites? Maybe I'll just link to this forum topic instead!

Firebug is a must, it is very good for many things, I mostly use it for examining a page and checking an element to see what styles are applied and/or changing the styles to tweak it then put back in CSS. (since I'm still new to more advanced CSS, I can attest to how nice this is)
As an addition to firebug, Page Speed plug in for it for analyzing speeds.
WDT (Web developer toolbar) is also a must.
I run ColorPicker instead of FirePicker
Although I have MeasureIt installed, since I realized WDT has same feature (under Misc->Display Ruler), I use it instead
Also a note for WDT, under the tools section, it is worth the time to add several in, I have entries to things such as DomainTools.com, Wacky Wayback, SEO Browser, and a few others), makes it nice to just click those in there.
Ok, I'm gonna cheat on this one, to push another program worth getting... FiddlerHook This is used to automatically route traffic through Fiddler when you have it running, which is great for monitoring activity on a page, seeing load times, AJAX calls, so much!) (yes, this is limited to windows, but nice if you are on windows)
Another nice one for if you are on Windows.. IE Tab, gives you an icon in the bottom right corner to open up an instance of your default IE install in the firefox window to see how it looks/behaves in IE (nice for quick checks, or like at work, one of our oldest CMS's can only be used in IE)
Lastly, Spell Checker (this one is hard to search for, so here is the link: http://sites.google.com/site/gaurangnshah/spellchecker ) Nice for spot checking spelling on a page. While it is basic and you can't add to the dictionary, it is nice to have it highlight what it finds. While I run InSpyder on the entire site before launching, it cannot catch spelling issues on things that require user interaction, (ie, the "Thank you" text from a form).
That is about my list.

My favourite Firefox add-on at the moment is the SEOMOZ bar. You do need an account to have access to all the features but there is a free version available. This toolbar supplies so many metrics for root domains/ sub domains and landing pages. It also has a handy tool called a SERP overlay which displays all the information on the SERP pages so you dont even have to click onto the site to know which sites hold authority etc. I find the information much more reliable than the outdated 'PageRank'. Anyone else use this?

Alexa Sparky and SearchStatus are 2 great firefox add-ons.
Helps your site while also helping other sites you visit. Because some people still care about their sites Alexa ranking. Even though the value of Alexa ranking is debatable.

It allows you resizing your window according to resolution sizes and that is great for every web development and designer.

So many awesome tools I haven't tried yet. Hey everyone I have yet to try but has anyone here used View Source in Dreamweaver? You are supposed to be able to right click on a website site and there should be an option that allows you to view the page source in Dreamweaver. I've yet to try it.

I like the addon Stylish, for customizing CSS live. It allows you to modify any website's CSS. I use it to polish website designs and then use the code I built in the application as the website's actual .css file.
