Hi my name is LightWolf, i am a website owner and am looking for someone that can create a chat for my site. Please don't direct me to free chats as they dont have what i'm looking for.We are a fairly new site and i am disabled, so have only my website for income as of now. I can't afford to pay for someone to create this script for me, but i can offer free website hosting to who ever can create this for me. What im looking for is a chat script like what you see here http://fortunesnow.com now i dont need a members list, nor need to be able to boot ppl, as this i will control through my site. I do how ever need the option of allowing ppl to mute others. Now this chat does not need to be in shockwave, but i need it to fit in a center block on my xoops template not in a module. Here is my website, i want to place chatroom on main page once you log in to my website i want chat to be opened. What are your scripting limits on the server? (windows, linux)
What platform are you considering? (JavaScript / server-side, java, flash)

I can do ASP.NET (windows) if you want a JavaScript driven one.
Or I can do it in flash on any server type.

Your SOL if you want in java though.

EDIT: I'll also work for a fixed amout.

Hmmm the chat in fortunesnow is in shockwave and takes too long to load, I have a bunch of options for this which are ready for deployment, whats your limitations, how fast does the reply need to be? I have a dial-up delay for my chats the other for 10 seconds; no problem for broadband however.
