Webmaster in need of help
Hi my name is Neo and i am really bad at designing websites. I dont have a clue what shtml is or how to make a descent site design. Any comments or help would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows where to get some descent navigation menus that too would be great

Neo,
I'm not really sure what you're asking for help on... There are plenty of learning sites available out there including devshed.com, wdvl.com, sitepoint.com, pageresource.com, etc. As far as layouts are concerned, you might want to check out coolhomepages.com
Hopefully this will help at least a little...

Try http://www.bignosebird.com
It's a great place to gain experience and learn for beginners, intermediate web designers.

Eltegamers - just let us know what your questions are more specifically. We'll be happy to help. TO answer one of yours, .shtml is a file extension used for HTML files that use server side includes (SSI). SSI allows you to literally include other html files in your page. So you have your HTML, you call a SSI and the server will automatically grab the file you're calling for and add it right in to your exising HTML. It's most commonly used for elements that will stay the same on every page, like logos, navigation, copyright statements etc.
