Web 2.0
Hi,
Recently some friends asked me about Web 2.0, how companies and users will use this platform to there benefits in the near future.
Maybe one of you can help me understand the main changes we will see soon regarding the new internet platform ?
Thanks,
Chicho

We've discussed this in some other threads, but really Web 2.0 is just a buzzword for various innovations that are already out there and in use. Ajax is one of the more popular examples, due in part to the popularity of Google maps, which makes use of it.

A popular thread where we discussed Web 2.0 is: "The Truth About Web 2.0"
Or there's good old Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_2.0
It's difficult to easily explain what Web 2.0 is suppose to be, although it is easy to explain it as a nasty e-buzzword e.g. "Leveraging Web 2.0 for a clicks and mortar architecture, to achieve transverse operation paradigms."
