upload stuff
I have a website set up with the ftp space AOL gives. Basically I want an upload option so that people who use the site can upload stuff. I have created a folder called "incoming" and anyone can upload stuff to that folder, you do not need a password or any kind of login information. I want an upload form, basically just a "browse" button to look for the file they want to send and a “submit” button to send it. I have looked on the net and I cannot seem to find and tutorials on it, I did find one but it looked way too complicated. By the way my AOL web server is pretty crap and only really supports html…
Any ideas?
Cheers

To upload, you need some server side code to save the file on the server. so with only AOL free space you probably can't.

The thing is that if you type ftp://members.aol.com/*******/incoming you can copy and paste files into the folder without having to type passwords or any kind of login information. so surley if its that easy to do you must be able to make a simple upload form to do it?

That's because you have already logged on to AOL and are given FTP access.

wonderful! I bet the warez dumpers love that kind of security.
so if there is anonymous FTP access why do you need a form (which will need server side code because it isn't FTP)
