Unacceptable Words List
I am looking for a list of unacceptable words to be blocked in an application I am building. I know there are a large number of words commonly used on the internet and I am sure I would miss a lot of them or their variations if I tried to write them all myself. Does anyone know of a database, spreadsheet, or list of commonly blocked words for messageboards or any other applications?
Thank you.

Just be warned these lists are usually made to one countries words (ie USA), and these blocked words are quite acceptable else where in the world.
few examples, while in USA ... I was told the older generation was offend by the word "toilet", and should use "restroom", the word "damn" is known as a swear word in my country (I got smacked often for this one lol), the use of the word "wanker" in USA is quite acceptable to describe the you know what, while in my country that is a very bad swear word. calling someone "black" in my country is very offensive (and would get ya lights knocked out saying it to someone).
we also say things on how they are, things like a female dog is a *****, a rooster is a **** etc
depending on what your building you may want to try find several from different places/countries
sorry if this offended anyone
[edit] hmm seems WMF has one of those USA lists lol, weird only two was sensored thou

This always makes me laugh that in one place a word is fine and in another it's a very offensive swear word, just seems daft and supposidly we all speak English!!

I am fortunate to know that the application I am building will only be designed for residents of the USA. Being on the internet obviously means it is available for anyone in the world, but that is not our concern for right now.
Thank you for your help.
