Trouble Viewing New Uploaded Index Page
For some reason when I view the new, uploaded index page on my site,
it still shows the old page? I have internet explorer set to "view new pages
on every visit" and I even deleted the old page in my FTP then reloaded the new one so I dont see how it can still show the old pages when they dont even exist. I even deleted all my cookies, history, temporary internet files, re-booted and it still shows the old index page. When I go back to my c: drive and view the new page I created, it looks perfect! I dont understand it, can anyone help?
Thanks in advance for any help

It would be serving from your Ip's server, press ctrl f5 or just f5 to refresh not from cache

I tried that and it didnt work either. I just added a few new navagation buttons, loaded them and refreshed and I still get the old page. I had a friend view the new site and he also see's the old page.
Last time this happened I just I just dumped everything, re-uploaded and it worked fine. I surely dont want to do that everytime I make a change.

hmmm, try removing the index file on the root foolder of your site temporarily, then view the site if it indicates theirs no file or shows you your folder root. After that re upload the index file and see if it sees it again. Happened to me before so i contacted my host and actually the browser has the problem of getting the new file even when the cache and cookie was cleared...

Ok,
I totally deleted the index page, refreshed the url and it was blank (thats a good sign). Then I uploaded the new index page, refreshed the url again and once again it showed the "old" page. I went back and opened up the index page on my c: drive and it shows the new page. Matter of fact the old index page isnt even on my putor anymore so there's no way I can accidentally up load the old page. Is this crazy or what?
I guess I have to call my host also and see whats up.

Just a sde note, not sure if it is still the same, but it used to be you held down SHIFT while clicking the refresh button to force Netscape and earlier versions of IE to force it to grab a fresh copy.
Also, try using another browser like Firefox to iew the pages to see if it is just IE messing up before you contact your hosting company.
Or, how about giving us the URL so we can tell you what we see.
