Trial & Error Development Time
Hi,
Im just wondering how much time other developers spend throwing up idea's for that client from hell who has no idea what they want...
Im finding I am spending more and more time with these type of clients doing 4,5,6.... sample layouts before finding something they want to go with.
I just seem to be spending more time in this phase than building the final site.
Is it just me or does this happen to you too ?
Thanks,

Yeah, it happens
Probably, the best thing is to pin them down about what sort of things they like before you start. Let them look at some of the websites they like most, and then base your sample layouts on some of these websites!

Well, it's better to spend that time planning on what to make the design than to spend your time making a design, client not like it and then starting over again, it's a waste of your time, your clients time, your money and your clients money.
