Is there a way to change a visitors homepage without them knowing? (im using it as a practical joke on a friend)

Is there a way to link to somebody's homepage?

Is there a way to have an exe file auto download on a website, without saying would you like to open or save this file?

1. if you know a visitor's IP you can use an Apache built-in function to redirect them somewhere. i know people who run porn sites use this technique to redirect quality traffic (ex: Google traffic) to more expensive sponsors. this is done through ".htaccess" file and mod_rewrite capability. sorry, i am too lazy to look for the code right now Smiling i am sure you can find it though.

2. if simple redirect in HTML or javascript does not work for you, you can do it through Apache (again using .htaccess). if you want to display that page instead of your page, you will need to use mod_rewrite and mod_proxy to do it. again, it's a long story...

3. no, i don't think there is.
