Is there anything else I can do?

Some of your are familar with an ongoing battle I'm having with someone who has been posting abusive comments in the guestbook of a website I administer. I've removed the guestbook and am making it more "approval based" so that comments from site visitors are screened before being published in the guestbook. I've submiited the Ip addresses to the appropriate ISPs, but this guy was/is a real jerk. Not only did he post really inappropriate remarks and take cheap shots at the site owner (an actress) he tried to publish her personal contact info in his last attack.

Short of the site owner taking formal actions for defamation and privacy invasions, is there anything else that I can do other than just hope his ISP actually investigates the abuse and drops him?

At this point, no. I think that if it's gotten this personal, it's time to get the authorities involved. You'll need to have the person being attacked contact her local police and have THEM contact the police in the location where this person is. Contacting legal services is also advised.

You can shut down the site, but it's better to collect information and get this person dealt with as a stalker.
