I want to unzip a .tar and a .rar file but wimzip wont do it. Does anyone know of a free piece of software that will unzip it.

ExtractNow or UltimateZip are ones that I've used.
. Google them and you'll find them.

winRAR - beleive it's a microsoft freebie, I replaced winzip with it years ago
