Maybe if you made them into questions, people would be willing to submit their opinions. Smiling

This is going to be really bitter sounding, but why don't I just tell you everything so you don't have to learn anything yourself?

How about I just give you my business?

I use an Internet Marketer -- maybe you'd like her to give you all the knowledge that is her business?

What you are asking for is exactly what people in this business are selling -- knowledge of the ins and outs.

You can get it the same way they did -- learn how to use a search engine, talk to those willing to offer tips, talk to the search engine companies (they do have tips for submissions on their sites), read the trade journals and websites that discuss these things (see that search engine that you want to impress, learn to use it from the user side first).

In forums such as these, look around! Use the SEARCH tool to find threads where people have donated their knowledge to others.

That said, you might want to start with #10 and figure out what you want to have a site about in the first place. Without content, everything else is moot.

By the way, none of your questions relate to products or tools.

To answer your first set:

1) Mastering search engines

Have good content. Focus it. Get rid of the crap.

2) Keywords guaranteed to double your traffic

There are none, this is just crap.

3) Starting my own online business

Have content. Have product. Use third party shopping cart.

4) Starting my own adult site

Ha ha ha ha ha. Oh, dear. Well, you can click on all the ads that say "webmasters make $$$$" !! ha ha ha ha.

5) Making money with my web site

CONTENT.

6) Billing solutions without a merchant account

This is a valid question -- paypal, kagi, regsoft, digisoft, are third party billing processors that will help you without a merchant account.

7) Getting traffic to my site

CONTENT!

Cool Creating Killer Meta Tags

Well you see, first you start with CONTENT, then you put what the CONTENT is about in the meta tags. Yes there is more. You would do some searches and see what brings up your competitors and use keywords similar to that.

9) How to get my site online

! Buy hosting. Create site. Publish site. Better yet, hire someone to do it for you. This is a complex question, there are many many steps involved.

10)Beginers Guide to Making it Big on the Net

Ha!

Also, this is a bulletin board -- a forum. The way it works is that people come here and read and the posts are saved and then other people can come here and read that information and everyone benefits. Emailing you personally would rather defeat the purpose, no?

I don't get it.

Are you asking for help or are you conducting a survey? What has your starting and adult site have anything to do with my opinion on webmaster tools that I would be interested in using?? Confused

I like rye bread better than wheat. Hope that helps your survey (whatever your survey is).

You know it might just be more, but does anyone else notice the very slightest hint of frustration in Suzannes's post? Smiling

BTW HarryBoy I think the keyword here is content....just a guess though...
