iam looking at acehelpdesk.com helpdesk system for one of my sites . they come highly recommended from my circle of my webmaster friends . anyone had any experiences with them ? . how good are they . their demo looks quite nice . please do let me know

I've never used them before, but I have used http://www.helpcenterlive.com. It's a free program and it is pretty good, handles live chat, and has a nice knowledge base add-on. I don't know if it is exactly what you want, but you might want to check it out.
