Strange referring websites - why? how?
I check my stats and I see referring websites that make so sense and when I click on them they are usually foreign or in this morning's situation, pornographic.
How do these websites get on my referring website list on my stats and why??? Does it benefit them is some way?

I just noticed that it takes me to affiliate page for the porn site. Grrrrrr.
I still don't get how they get on my referring list!

ah, that's not so bad -- it could be a public system that shows. They are just faking the referrer information, ignore them unless you are publishing your referrers. You can block them, too, using .htaccess if you want.
